If you have not yet run this course, then you're in for a treat! Our newly developed course, starting and finishing in the beautiful, small town of Hurricane, Utah and loops around Sand Hollow Reservoir, is only twenty minutes from St. George, thirty minutes from Zion National Park, and two hours from Vegas. This will be the fourth annual Sand Hollow Marathon, and as always, our goal is to provide the perfect venue. We believe we have the most scenic course of all; making this is a great race with a small town atmosphere. The scenery is fantastic, the volunteers are great, and our sponsors make it happen. We have listened to the advice of our runners and continue to improve and grow this popular event. To visit their site click Here.

The Huntsman World Senior Games
October 6–18, 2014
The HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES, as it is known today, began in 1987 as the World Senior Games, an international senior sports competition. Founded by Daisy and John H. Morgan, Jr., the Games began with their vision of an international sports event for men and women ages 55 and better. Both agreed that the golden years were better when good health and physical fitness became a way of life, not an occasional hobby. Since its inception, the Games have been open to all men and women meeting the age requirement. The second year of the Games the age requirement was reduced from age 55 to age 50 to include more athletes and to encourage those looking at retirement to become involved in a personal fitness program or team sport.
