Meet Dr. Gordon Reynolds, M.D.
Dr. Gordon Reynolds, M.D. is a world-renowned medical doctor, author, lecturer and wellness consultant. For the past two decades of his medical career, he has sought to transcend the limitations of pharmaceutical obsessed modern medicine, incorporating nutrition, meditation, exercise and alternative therapies to help patients take control of their health, and live longer, healthier, more energetic lives.

Dr. Reynolds correlates all aspects of the program to empower participants with the knowledge and understanding they need to remain in firm control of their weight management upon returning home with no need for special equipment or a prescribed diet. To this end, he personally counsels each guest to provide a practical, lifelong solution to his or her unique weight problem and related health issues.
Dr. Reynold’s work in holistic wellness is built on a solidly traditional medical background. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Medicine with post-graduate training in Obstetric and Gynecology including one year as a research fellow of the American Cancer Society. For 25 years he built a successful private practice in Southern California, where he was also an assistant professor at the UCLA and Loma Linda Medical Centers.
Prior to joining Green Valley, Dr. Reynolds served as Medical Director at the La Costa Spa in Carlsbad, CA, where he built the internationally acclaimed Life, Fitness and Longevity Program.

Our Auro Video Station is a Multimedia Biofeedback Imaging System using the science of biofeedback, color therapy and energy medicine to measure, analyze and visually display an accurate representation of your emotional energetic state. Guests receive a complete 24-page report with video tape that includes Aura and Chakra photos with detailed analysis of your current energetic/emotional state, chakra levels and more.
Private Labyrinth Walking Meditation
Our therapist directs a walk along circular paths representing a spiritual journey through various aspects of self to the wisdom center, where resolution occurs and answers appear. Here energetic therapy is provided by an expert therapist. The return walk twists and turns as it moves back through these spaces, bringing a sense of resolution, understanding, and purpose.
Personal Meditation Guidance
These special techniques for relieving stress and anxiety are designed to induce an “inner quiet” that’s so rare and precious in today's busy world. Participants learn how to control tension in the muscles and focus attention in the mind to bring healthy stamina and balance to cellular activity, heart rhythms, brain waves, and to access higher consciousness.
Spirit Hikes
A special hike exercising both body and mind through walking and moving meditation among the red rocks and wild flowers surrounding Green Valley. Experience the “Chi” shower and “Five Element Dance” in the pristine beauty of nature.
Tai Chi
Tai (“ultimate”) Chi (“ultimate life force energy”) exercises are helpful in regulating metabolism and blood pressure. Tai Chi can also reduce stress, enhance the balance of the mind, body, spirit and promote internal strength physically, mentally and emotionally. Private Sessions available.
Yoga
Yoga, which literally means “union,” unites and balances all aspects of an individual, awakening the spiritual core. Most people who practice Yoga experience a decrease in tension and stress and an increase in flexibility and energy level. Unlike other forms of physical exercise, many people also gain a renewed sense of well being and a feeling of peace and calm that extends well beyond the yoga session, and into one's daily life.
